Chef – Trailer

Did you enjoy last week’s Spotlight film, Antwone Fisher? This weeks ‘Spotlight‘ will be shining on the fantastic upbeat family comedy-drama, Chef (2014), written by, directed and starring Jon Favreau.

Many of you will probably not know of this screen gem due to it’s independent film status (basically it was not a wide release) but the story follows renowned Chef Carl Casper (Favreau) who, after losing his job due to a colossal meltdown in the public eye, decides to go back to the foundations of his profession by opening up a portable food truck as he, his son, and loyal friend Martin (John Leguizamo).

It’s a real treat for the whole family that will make you fall in love with food and cooking again – not to mention it sees the box-office heavyweight Robert Downey Jr team up once again with his Iron Man franchise director – Scarlett Johansson, Dustin Hoffman and Sofia Vergara also lend their talents to the cast.

Make Chef your Sunday evening film – you will glad you did.
